OPI Nicki Minaj - Fly & Save Me

Hi all! Hope you are all great. Just a quick post to show you a mani I did a couple of weeks ago using two of the OPI Nicki Minaj colours. They are all beautiful shades and I shall be showing the others in other posts as I wear them.

Fly is an amazing bright turquoise-teal-blue cream finish polish. It is highly pigmented, this is two coats pictured and applies like a dream. It is quite a unique shade of blue in my collection and I really love it. I have a bit of a thing for blue nail polish, quite a few of my favourites are blues.

I topped my ring fingers with OPI Save Me glitter which is a blue and gold strand/bar glitter which is also a bit holographic so changes colour in the light. It also has some regular silver glitter thrown in the mix. I used two coats here but I think one coat would have been better as you would be able to see the strands better.

By the way, I've got cuticle oil on my fingers which is why they are so shiny.

Using Sleek's Monaco Palette - Pink and Teal

I am really loving this palette, I have reached for it so much since I won Rachel's from All Things Rachy giveaway. I'm going to be posting some looks that I have created using it starting with this one which I did yesterday.

I used Lotus Flower (shimmery lilac) on my lid and then blended Magenta Madness (matte magenta) into the crease and upwards. I then applied some Moors Treasure (matte plum) into the outer corner and blended through the crease to darken and deepen. Lastly I applied a line of Humming Bird (shimmery teal) along my lower lash line.

Surf Baby FOTD

I played with some of my new Surf Baby products today, I was quite happy with how it came out. I also really like yellow on my eyes, this was the first time I'd tried it.

What I used:

MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation

Bobbi Brown Corrector and Concealer with powder.

Collection 2000 translucent powder through t-zone.

MAC Lush-Light Bronze Studio Careblend Powder on cheeks, into hairline, up to temples.

Urban Decay Primer Potion

MAC Sun Blonde Eye shadow all over lid

MAC Surf USA Eye shadow through crease, blended into the yellow and then blended upwards to get the true colour. Also along lower lashes.

Urban Decay Virgin Eye shadow under brow bone and blended into Surf USA.

MAC Spiked brow pencil

Bobbi Brown Longwear Gel Liner in Black Ink

Chanel Imitable Intense Mascara

MAC Hibiscus Lipstick

I felt very summery today :)
