Using Sleek Monaco Palette - Mixing Greens

As you might know, I am a complete green fiend. Green is my favourite colour, especially to wear on my eyes. In Sleek's Monaco Palette, there is only one green and I found myself wanting to create a green look and wanting to add other greens into the look but that would defeat the object of using only this palette. So I decided to mix my own greens using other shades in the palette to darken the existing green.

This is what I came up with...

I used Kiwi Zest (shimmery lime green) all over my lids and then added Humming Bird (shimmery teal) to the outer 1/3 using a fluffy brush to gently mix it with the lime that was already there. Then I gently tapped my brush into Midnight Garden (matte navy), just once because it is such a strongly pigmented shade and blended that into the crease to add some dimension. It still looked a little blue so I went back with Kiwi Zest over the top which made it more green. Then I took some more Midnight Garden and put that into the very outer corner and then added more Kiwi Zest on top. Gradually I got a few different greens until I was happy. Underneath my eye I used Kiwi Zest to line my lower lashes and then put some Humming Bird on the outer lash line which made a nice bright green.

  1. Very very nice look! It's a proof that green eyeshadow can be really chic&flattering, not tacky! I wish I could get me hands on Sleek, that pout polish also looks really good! :/
