Surf Baby FOTD

I played with some of my new Surf Baby products today, I was quite happy with how it came out. I also really like yellow on my eyes, this was the first time I'd tried it.

What I used:
MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation
Bobbi Brown Corrector and Concealer with powder.
Collection 2000 translucent powder through t-zone.
MAC Lush-Light Bronze Studio Careblend Powder on cheeks, into hairline, up to temples.
Urban Decay Primer Potion
MAC Sun Blonde Eye shadow all over lid
MAC Surf USA Eye shadow through crease, blended into the yellow and then blended upwards to get the true colour. Also along lower lashes.
Urban Decay Virgin Eye shadow under brow bone and blended into Surf USA.
MAC Spiked brow pencil
Bobbi Brown Longwear Gel Liner in Black Ink
Chanel Imitable Intense Mascara
MAC Hibiscus Lipstick

I felt very summery today :)

  2. Love it! I think Sun Blonde and Surf USA go really pretty with your eye color. :)
BTW, what are your thoughts on studio sculpt foundation? I kinda want to try it out, but haven't heard many things about it.
    Thanks! :)

  3. xasperadastra: Thanks!

Wendy: Thanks! I find that Sun Blonde and Surf USA pull out the green and yellow tones in my eyes rather than the browner tones. My eyes always change colour depending on what eye shadows I am wearing. As for Studio Sculpt, I like it. It is a light to medium coverage foundation and doesn't feel heavy on my skin. It blends well and doesn't dry too quickly so you can't really make a mistake with it. It comes in a tube so you can squeeze out how much you want. I use the 190 with it and that works nicely, the 187 works well too for a lighter airbrushed finish so brushes like those two are best. It isn't matte, it gives a natural finish, slightly dewy. It doesn't oxidise on me and lasts all day. It also has SPF 15 in it so you get your sunscreen combined. I'm running out of it now but I want to try something different next. Studio Sculpt is the only proper liquid foundation I've tried so I want to see what else is out there and try something very light for the Summer. Hope that helps, if you want to know anything else, just ask! :D

  6. I know this post is from last summer, but I just happened upon it while searching Google images for MAC Happy Hibiscus lipstick! I know you aren't wearing Happy Hibiscus here, but I just had to say that your shadow look is gorgeous! I have eyes similar in color to yours, and now I'm inspired to try this combination of shadows myself. Its gorgeous on you! :-)
